Madison is in the heart of historic Morris County, a quaint community of about 4 square miles. It is a town that celebrates "Bottle Hill Day" and presents "Rose City Festival" (celebratory street fair) each year. Drew University presents the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival each summer, in it's newly renovated theater, some of the finest theater outside of New York City. The community offers excellent schools, public and private, abundant shopping, restaurants, train and bus transportation, though most everything can be accomplished by just walking around town. Madison's nestled between Chatham and Morristown, just off major interstates should you need to travel outside this lovely historic town. It even has its own movie theater.
